How to & where to use?

The Wifi Solar Motion Alarm can be secured to boundary / perimeter, structural wall and / or poles and so much more. We would recommend to install as close as possible to a wifi access point.

Please note the wireless range extenders that can be added to your order.

The Recommended installation height would be at a height of 2.3 meters

The device has a  9 – 12 meters reach distance at a 110 degree angle.

The APP can be downloaded from the below two links:

Step 1 – Download the app and register on the app.
Step 2 – Follow and allow all prompts that the app require.
Step 3 – Setup your Home Area on the App. Found under Me->Home Management
Step 4 – Place your device into Network Pairing Mode by holding down the blue button until two beeps are heard and the red light flickering on the device.
Step 5 – On the App, click on Home at the bottom left. Click the plus Icon at the top right. Click Add Device
Step 6 – The App will start searching for the device. Remember to make sure that the device is still in network pairing mode and that you are close enough to your wifi. Once detected the app will guide you further.

The App can also be used to change settings if the device is not in sleep mode.

The device is set to different settings by using the button at the back of the device and by pressing the button once per setting to change the setting or by using the accompanying remote control.

The device has 8 setting options as per the instruction manual:

Hold down button until 2 beeps Heard – Network Pairing Mode

1. Short Press Once (1 Beep) – Day and Night Mode with Siren and Flashing Red Light
2. Short Press Once (2 Beeps) – Day and Night Mode with Flashing Red Light
3. Short Press Once (3 Beeps) – Night Mode with Siren and Flashing Red Light
4. Short Press Once (4 Beeps) – Night Mode with Flashing Red Light
5. Short Press Once (5 Beeps) – Pairing of Remote Control, Press any button on remote to pair to Alarm, up to 40 devices can be paired to the remote
6. Short Press Once (6 Beeps) – Deleting the remote by pressing the button on the remote once
7. Short Press Once (No Beep) – Power Off

Remote Control functionality:

The device doesn’t have to be programmed daily, if the device is for example set to “ Mode 3” the device will automatically activate itself for “Night Mode” at sunset and disable itself at sunrise.

The device activates for 30 seconds and if there is no further movement in its monitoring field, it resets again. The device is then ready to trigger again.
